Family FAQ
My kids are shy — will they be comfortable?
Absolutely! I'm used to working with shy kids and have lots of tricks to make them feel at ease. We'll take it slow, let them warm up, and capture genuine smiles. No forced poses!
What if my toddler has a meltdown?
That's totally normal! We can take breaks, reschedule for another day, or just roll with it. Some of the best family photos happen during the "messy" moments. I'm patient and understanding.
Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Yes! We can do multi-generational photos, large group shots, or smaller subgroups. Let me know your vision during booking and we'll plan accordingly.
What should we wear?
Soft, coordinated colors work beautifully (think blush, cream, sage, gold). Avoid large logos or busy patterns. Matching outfits aren't necessary — coordinated is perfect! I'll send detailed outfit guidance after you book.
Where do we shoot?
I love golden hour outdoor sessions — parks, beaches, fields. The Pacific Northwest has so many beautiful spots! We can also do studio sessions if you prefer. I'll help you choose the perfect location.
How many photos do I get?
You'll receive 40+ edited images. Every good moment is included so you can relive all the joy from your session!
Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?
Yes! I monitor the forecast and will reach out if we need to reschedule. Pacific Northwest rain doesn't always ruin photos, but we'll make sure conditions are good for your session.
